The uchi bake (pounding brush) is a beautiful addition to any studio wishing to take the practice of joining and backing papers to a higher level.

The Professional Brush has a six inch handle, six inches wide, and the bristles are 3 1/2 long by 4” wide and three inches thick.

The course palm bristle brush is used in the backing and mounting processes to pound two layers of paper together. The action of the pounding pushes all the fibers of the sheets together to mesh into one sheet.

Student grade brush is an affordable substitute for the standard traditional pounding brush, with narrower and shorter stiff bristles and a more slim profile and handle.
